Farewell To Marg Helgenberger
This has been a big week for Marg Helgenberger. She got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame…
and tonight is her last TV appearance, after 13 seasons, as CSI’s Catherine Willows. I had the pleasure of meeting Marg — and acting with her— at the W. Hollywood Book Fair Teen stage in October. She is honestly the sweetest, most down-to-earth person imaginable.

Great Shake-Out
Yesterday, I participated in the Great California Shakeout Drill. Actually, it was scary. Los Angeles: WE ARE NOT PREPARED! The kids at my Thursday school, though, which was a regional center for the earthquake drill, were all in. Lots of firemen, tons of drama. Since this is L.A., there was the requisite Hollywood make-up artist who “injured” several kids.

Italy Chronicles, Pt. 1
So yes, I am a YA writer (DANCERGIRL publishes on 11/22/11 by HarlequinTeen) but I am also a person who (sometimes) gets to go on vacation!
